One of the many reasons that you’ve had such a great experience with Aico furniture in the past is because it’s a vertically integrated manufacturing company. They produce the products in their own facilities. The difference between most of today’s “manufacturers” and Aico is that most of today’s “manufacturers” are simply “jobbing” their designs out to various independent manufacturing facilities overseas (not their own facilities)… Aico on the other hand actually employees the workers in it’s own facility and also controls the quality. The benefit of this type of arrangement is that they understand their costs and have better control over their own quality control.
Whereas the challenge for most "manufacturers" after they've struck a deal with an actual manufacturing facility it becomes a tug-of-war with the producer and the brand, maintaining the original specification and adherence to quality. In Aico's case after they've come up with a design that works and a prototype that sells, they don't "cut costs" to save money. They price the piece accordingly and consistently produce the product to the standard of the original prototype. Aico understands that it is in the interest of their brand and the consumer that they consistently produce a quality product. And it's for this reason that consumers have a consistently "good" experience with Michael Amini's AICO furniture.
Furniture From Home delivery follows similar principles of consistency when delivering Aico Furniture. We employ the same delivery company for the lions share of our Aico furniture deliveries. The consistency of our operation means that not only do our customers benefit from fixed pick-up dates for Aico furniture (every Tuesday and Thursday), our customers also benefit from delivery personnel that are experienced in delivering the often times heavy and delicate nature of Michael Amini's designs.
