Customer Returns - Customer satisfaction is top priority at Furniture From Home. If you are unsatisfied for any reason with your purchase, you can return or exchange it within 30 days of delivery. Returned items must be in new and unused condition. Custom orders where custom fabrics or colors are selected are non-returnable. Because we ship our items from multiple locations across the United States it is very important that you request a Return Merchandise Authorization prior to initiating a return. All returns are subject to actual round trip shipping and delivery charges. In the case where a “Free Shipping” item is purchased, the return will be subject to the actual cost of shipping associated with the order. Returns are only accepted in their original packaging and should be unassembled. Items not in their original packaging will be assessed a $25 repackaging fee per piece. Returns due to an item not fitting into your home or room are subject to the policy listed here.
Delivery - Our delivery service is comprehensive and designed to provide our customers with a level of service beyond that of most online furniture retailers. Furniture From Home offers free delivery. Unless marked otherwise or notified via email/phone prior to shipment, delivery will include in home delivery and set-up by professional and bonded delivery team. With our white glove service you will be contacted prior to delivery to schedule a date and time.
Delivery Time Frame - Furniture is considered an oversized/heavy item. Because of the oversize classification, shipping furniture takes longer than UPS or USPSable items. Please allow 2 - 6 weeks for delivery of your items. If you are in need of an expedited delivery service please contact your Furniture From Home sales rep to set-up an expedited delivery.
Order Cancellations - Orders may be canceled at anytime. Cancellation requests received after shipment of an order are subject to the full return policy. Exceptions include custom orders, orders where custom fabrics and sizes are purchased. Custom orders may be canceled for a full return only up to 3 days after the order date. Cancellation requests MUST be done over the phone with a live customer service rep. Email cancellation requests and phone message cancelation requests are not accepted.
Shipping Damage - Our staff is available to help if your order arrives damaged. Our comprehensive delivery service is specifically designed to reduce the rate of shipping damage. In the event of damage upon arrival please notify Furniture From Home and your delivery company immediately. Damages to items upon arrival must be noted on your delivery receipt and brought to the attention of Furniture From Home immediately. Damage not noted on your delivery receipt must be reported to Furniture From Home within 5 days of receipt for consideration. If damage is not noted on your delivery receipt Pictures will be required. If there are partial damages or shortages, accept the good items and list damages/shortages on your delivery receipt; we will send free replacement parts to correct the problem or replace the whole item at our discretion. If a replacement is declined and you would rather cancel your order you will be subject to the normal cancellation/return policy. Furniture From Home reserves the right to repair or replace furniture that is damaged on arrival. We are not responsible for any shipping damage not reported within 5 days of arrival. If the delivery receipt is not signed with damage noted and your order requires repair or replacements, pending approval a service call can be performed at a fixed cost of $75 and a replacement can be provided at $150. Damage that is properly noted on the delivery receipt will be taken care of at no cost to the customer. We pride ourselves in fair and just treatment of our customers in the event of shipping damage.
Disclaimer of Liability - To the extent permitted by law, neither Furniture From Home nor any of its employees, related partners or their respective officers will be liable in any way for any loss, damage, cost or expense suffered or incurred by you or claims made by you because of your use of this site, unavailability of this site or in connection with any products, services or information advertised, offered or supplied through this site. Furniture From Home maintains the exclusive right to cancel or refuse any order without limitation. Including: price omission, incorrect price, typographical errors, suspicion of fraud, and delivery area restrictions.
Fraudulent use of Credit Cards - In an effort to protect our customers and preserve the rights of consumers around the USA, we file fraud orders with the appropriate authorities. Do not attempt to process a fraudulent order on this website. The DA’s around the country are currently cracking down on internet credit card fraud.
Dispute and Chargeback - In the event of a dispute Furniture From Home will assign a claim representative to your account. Your claim representative will listen to your dispute and attempt to negotiate a fair resolution to your problem. If you charge back your credit card Furniture From Home will simply revert back to the Terms and Conditions and stick to whatever you are legally liable for. Your best and fairest way to resolve a claim issue is to go through your claim representative and work out a fair resolution. In the event that there is a chargeback the credit card holder will be billed a $175 administration fee.
Satisfaction Guarantee - If you are dissatisfied with your furniture, for any reason at all, Furniture From Home will accept a return according to our return policy. Furniture From Home is not responsible for any implied or public renditions of any satisfaction guarantee, other than what is listed in this policy. Furniture From Home will not accept any guarantee of satisfaction, other than what is listed here.

Any claim of dissatisfaction with products purchased, for any reason, is subject to Furniture From Home’s return policy and satisfaction guarantee policy. By purchasing from Furniture From Home and agreeing to the terms and conditions on this site, customer is aware that any satisfaction guaranteed or implied by their credit card company is trumped by the terms and conditions that they are agreeing to here.
1 Year Warranty - Your new furniture is covered under a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. Should you have a warranty claim contact your FurnitureFromHome.com sales representative for service. You will need: pictures of the issue and a clear description of the issue. Upon accepting a valid claim FurnitureFromHome.com will provide the part for replacement at no cost to the consumer. The customer will be responsible for the shipping and related assembly (if necessary) of the replacement part.
Not Covered Under Warranty - Naturally occurring phenomena as illustrated below.
Wood: The natural beauty of wood furniture: Wood furniture will have natural variation in grain and color as well as inherent characteristics such as mineral streaks, pitch pockets, striping, and insect markings. These are not considered quality defects. Slight variations in appearance may result from normal expansion and contraction of wood as it responds to climatic changes in the home.
Glass: The inherent beauty of Glass: Minor scratches, small air bubbles, surface waviness, or lightly pitted areas occur naturally during glass manufacturing. These are not considered quality defects.
Fabric: Natural variations occur during fabric manufacturing. The are not considered quality defects.
Leather: The natural beauty of leather: Leather has natural wrinkles, marks and scars. Variations in color and texture are genuine and natural features of leather.
Credit Card Authorization and Order Approval - In an effort to prevent fraud and protect consumers credit cards Furniture From Home has a very strict fraud protection program. Our process for order approval includes ensuring that the billing and shipping address match your banks recorded information. In the case that your billing or shipping information don’t match what your bank has on file for you, your order will be placed into “Billing not Approved” and a Furniture From Home customer support team member will contact you. You will be asked to call your bank and add your shipping address to your banks file.
Refunds - Refunds will be issued within 10 days of a refund request. In the event that furniture is picked up from your location the refund request will be initiated the day of pick-up. Refunds over $100 will be issued via check and sent via standard mail. 3 day refund check mailing is available at a fixed cost of $50.
