The use of this site is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below. Please read them carefully. Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. FurnitureFromHome.com reserves the right to make changes to this site and these terms and conditions at any time.

BILLING

We accept all of the following types of payment:

  • Credit Card Purchases (Visa, MC, Discover, AMEX)
  • Paypal Purchases
  • Personal Check (automatic 2% order discount)
  • Wire Transfers (automatic 2% order discount)

Credit cards will be authorized at the time of your purchase. This is not a charge. You card will not be charged until your order ships. For all other payment methods, full payment is processed at the point of sale.

Return billing

All returned orders will be assessed a fee of 25% of the purchase price. This amount will be deducted from the refund amount after an RMA has been approved.

Exchange billing

All orders being exchanged will be assessed a fee of 15% of their original order's purchase price. This amount will be deducted from the refund amount after an RMA has been approved.

Special Delivery Billing

  • Expedite delivery (175-375) depending on order. Call for personal quote.
  • More than two flights of stairs (75 per delivery per extra flight)
  • Re-delivery; you missed your delivery window (150 per delivery)
  • Room clearing; you didn’t clear space in room (85/hour)

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

At Furniture From Home we are proud to not only stand behind our products, but also our delivery service!

Furniture From Home is one of the ONLY online furniture stores to offer an IN-HOUSE shipping and delivery logistics team! What does this mean for you? In a word: SECURITY.

If you call to track an order, you're speaking to the same company you just ordered your product from, not some indifferent, big business shipping or delivery company. Furniture From Home employees will be at your side from the time you order until the product arrives in your home. Do you feel better now!?

The Service:

Shipping

  • Unless marked otherwise, all our orders ship on specialized furniture carrier trucks
  • Orders ship an average of 3-7 business days from your order approval date (depending on stock)

Tracking

  • You may track your order on our homepage or by calling in (866) 794-8861!
  • You will be notified of any order delays via email

Delivery

White Glove Delivery

  • Unless otherwise marked or notified, all our orders are given White Glove Delivery at no additional cost!*
  • Includes in-home delivery and setup, and assembly
  • You will receive a scheduling call and an individual delivery time window
  • Room must be cleared in advance, and delivery paperwork signed

Curbside Delivery

  • Specially marked items are only available with curb-side delivery
  • Furniture will be delivered on your doorstep in boxes

Special Delivery Situations

If special delivery situations are present, we must be informed prior to shipment so that arrangements can be made. There may be additional time and charges involved. Special delivery situations include but are not limited to:

  • More than two flights of stair delivery, without service elevator
  • Missed delivery date/time
  • Room is not prepared for delivery
  • Weekend delivery or after-hour delivery requests

*Common exceptions to our complimentary in home delivery service are: orders less than $1000, orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada, or other areas outside of the continental United States.

POST-DELIVERY SERVICES

There are many companies whose service begins and stops at the checkout process. The rest stop at the point of delivery; Furniture From Home provides quality customer service for the life of your product! See below for our list of current service options for ANY ORDER.

Replacement Parts

For any structural wear-and-tear or accidental damage to your product, you often times don't need to buy a whole new piece. Our parts and replacements team can help you find the best solution to your issue, and get your problem solved for MUCH LESS than buying a whole new product!

Touch-ups and Damage Repair

For any minor wear-and-tear or accidental damage to your product, scratches, dents, and chips; our furniture repair affiliates can help you find the best solution to your issue, and get your problem solved. This option will definitely save you some money, and will add life to your furniture!

Warranty Claims

Furniture From Home guarantees the quality of our products. We do so be offering an in-house one year warranty. If your product has a manufacturing defect, and was delivered less than one year ago, contact us to receive your free warranty service!

Assembly and Delivery help

If your product is an over-the-threshold or curb-side delivery, and you would like to have your product assembled or moved for you, we can do that!

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

Furniture From Home is working around the clock to provide a greater selection of quality furniture for our loyal customers, and are often adding to our product list online. We are as accurate and complete with our product descriptions as possible.

Each product is unique

Because our furniture is constructed using natural materials and finishes, small variances between the pictures on our website and actual product delivered are common. We do our best to accurately show the finish and colors of each piece we carry, however, colors can vary by personal perceptions, computer settings and hardware, printing variations, and lighting in the home. Please be aware and plan for slight variances in color. There are also naturally occurring variances between products depending on construction material. Wood, leather, fabric and glass all have slight variations natural to that material. In this way natural differences make each Furniture From Home product unique.

Typos

In the event there is a typographical error relating to a description or price of a product, please let us know and we will quickly correct the error. If you have purchased a product with a description error and are dissatisfied with your product, please see our exchange policy or our return policy. If you have purchased a product with a pricing error, Furniture From Home reserves the right to correct the pricing mistake and either credit/charge for the difference or cancel the order per your request.

Pictures

All our products are pictured on our site with accuracy in mind. If you notice a photographical error while online please let us know and we will quickly correct the error. If you have purchased a product with a photographical error and are dissatisfied with your product, please see our exchange policy or our return policy.

Individualized Information

Many orders are placed verbally or via email with our Certified Home Designers. Please note that all product and policy information presented on our website (http://furniturefromhome.com) supercedes any and all information presented individually via telephone, email, online chat, and facsimile.


CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders may be cancelled at anytime! Simply submit a Cancellation Request to a FurnitureFromHome.com representative.

You are eligible for an order cancellation if:

  1. Your order has not shipped
    • Most customers will have received a shipping notification email once their orders ship
    • If your order has shipped, you now fall under the RETURN POLICY
  2. Your order is not a custom order

SHIPPING DAMAGE

Our comprehensive delivery service is specifically designed to reduce the rate of shipping damage, but as we all know, sometimes ship happens! At Furniture From Home we pride ourselves on treating our customers fairly, even in the event that an item is damaged in transit.

If your order is damaged:

Furniture From Home will offer free repair and replacement for any order that:

  1. You contact Furniture From Home within 5 days of delivery
  2. Your damage has been recorded on your delivery receipt
  3. You can provide pictures (upon request)

EXCHANGE POLICY

Furniture From Home is exploring the frontier of the furniture service industry. We are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to improve customer service and customer satisfaction. One of our recent additions is our newly improved exchange policy.

Check your eligibility for an exchange

  • It has been LESS THAN 30 days since your delivery
  • Your order is not a custom order*
  • All your items are unused and in new condition.
  • You did not ship your furniture internationally.
  • You complete a purchase of equal or greater value to the item you are exchanging

Initiate an RMA online

  • Be sure to select the “exchange” option
  • Please allow 2 business days for your RMA to get approved
  • You may be contacted for additional information to help processing

Wait for your exchange order to arrive

  • Furniture From Home will exchange your unused original order with the new order
  • Return shipping fees will apply (see BILLING for details)
  • Please see Shipping and Delivery for expectations of exchange delivery

*Limit one exchange per customer. No returns are allowed on exchanged products.

RETURN POLICY

Customer satisfaction is top priority at Furniture From Home. If you are dissatisfied for any reason with your purchase and wish to return your order, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Check if your order is eligible for a return. You can return your product if:
    • It has been LESS THAN 30 days since your delivery
    • Your order is not a custom order*
    • All your items are unused and in new condition.
    • You have not received any Post Delivery Service or repair.
    • You did not ship your order internationally.
  2. Initiate your RMA with us
    • Please allow 2 business days for your RMA to get approved.
    • You may be contacted for additional information to help processing.
  3. Wait for your refund
    • Order refund checks are sent via standard mail from our California processing center.
    • Your check will be mailed out 2-3 business days after your RMA is approved.
    • Return service charges will be deducted from your refund (see BILLING for details)

Limited Liability

Our products are heavy, bulky and dangerous. By agreeing to purchase our product you recognize the danger that they can represent. We recommend that you consult with a professional anytime you need to move or repair your furniture. Furniture From Home is not responsible for personal injury or death related to the use of Furniture From Home products.

Moving Parts: Furniture has many moving parts. Do not put your fingers or toes inside of moving parts in your furniture. In the event a moving part becomes stuck or broken, we recommend that you consult with a professional furniture medic for repair.

Moving Furniture: Furniture is extremely heavy. We recommend that you consult with moving professionals when moving your furniture in or around your home. Do not attempt to move your furniture alone.

Electrical Sockets: Some furniture has electrical components. Do not attempt to fix or replace electrical components on your own. Consult an electrician.

Jurisdiction and Venue

You agree that any legal action brought against Furniture From Home shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that the sole jurisdiction and venue for any litigation arising from your use of or orders made on the FurnitureFromHome.com site shall be an appropriate federal or state court located in Orange County California.

Why are funds being deducted from my refund?
